Zusammenfassung:

The EUROMECH European Turbulence Conferences bring together scientists from all over the world. The series started in 1986 in Lyon. Recent meetings include Porto (ETC11), Trondheim (ETC10), Southhampton (ETC9) and Barcelona (ETC8).

The 12th meeting will be hosted by Philipps-Universität Marburg. The meeting will have 8 invited lectures, contributed talks in parallel sessions, and a poster session. The principal topics of ETC12 include but are not limited to:

- Acoustics of turbulent flows
- Atmospheric turbulence
- Control of turbulent flows
- Geophysical and astrophysical turbulence
- Instability and transition
- Intermittency and scaling
- Large eddy simulation and related techniques
- Lagrangian aspects
- MHD turbulence

- Transport and mixing
- Turbulence in multiphase and non-Newtonian flows
- Vortex dynamics and structure formation
- Wall bounded flows
