Fundamental Physics of Ferroelectrics
Zusammenfassung:
The 2009 annual Williamsburg Workshop
on Fundamental Physics of Ferroelectrics will be held at the Williamsburg
Lodge in Colonial Williamsburg. The conference will start with registration
and dinner on Sunday, February 8, and will conclude with lunch on Wednesday,
February 11. The workshop brings together scientists interested in the
physics of ferroelectricity and ferreoelectric materials. Topics include new
ferroelectric materials, piezoelectrics and electro-mechanical response,
domain effects, morphotropic phase boundary systems, relaxor ferroelectrics,
ferroelectric films, theory, new characterization methods, and
multifunctional ferroelectric materials.
